Hal tersebut dikonfirmasi secara langsung pada<a href=\"https:\/\/media.fb.com\/2017\/12\/14\/updates-to-video-distribution-and-monetization\/\"> halaman resminya,<\/a>\u00a0yang mana salah satu kebijakannya adalah menguji pre-rolls <em>Ad Break<\/em> dengan durasi enam detik sebelum menonton video.\u00a0 Sebagai bahan uji coba, saat ini pre-rolls \u00a0tersebut tidak akan dipasang di beranda News Feed melainkan di pasang di tempat-tempat orang secara sengaja menonton video di Facebook.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">Dalam postingannya, Facebook juga akan memperbaharui algoritma News Feed. Mereka akan memprioritaskan iklan video dari Fan Page yang memiliki jumlah perulangan tayang sangat tinggi. Selain itu, Facebook pun akan menambahkan 2 metrik baru untuk memantau jangkauan iklan tersebut yaitu <em>Ad Break Impressions<\/em> dan <em>Ad Break CPMs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">Terkait dengan pre-roll, Facebook memutuskan akan mengubah durasi minimal dari sebuah video. Pada kebijakan tahun lalu, perusahaan tersebut memberlakukan durasi video minimal 90 detik dan menempatkan Ad break berjalan selama 20 detik, Sedangkan pada bulan Januari mendatang, Facebook akan mengubah kebijakan baru dengan video berdurasi 3 menit dengan minimal durasi ad break selama 1 menit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">Keputusan tersebut diambil setelah adanya penelitian terhadap perilaku konsumen. Hasilnya adalah bahwa pergerakan iklan dari 90 detik sampai dengan tiga menit mampu meningkatkan kepuasan sebesar 18 % saat iklan tersebut di jeda menggunakan <em>Ad Break. <\/em>Dengan demikian, Facebook menilai hasil tersebut merupakan hasil yang cukup positif untuk membuat orang betah menonton iklan di dalam video.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 707px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.rappler.com\/B906807F6E1F4E709B076C299891A420\/img\/5CD8A10BA2F94653982FB8AEE0AB0CB3\/facebook-ad-break-20170224.jpg\" width=\"697\" height=\"392\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">rappler.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">Lebih dalam lagi terkait fitur Ad Break, sebagai bentuk perlindungan Facebook terhadap keamanan brand, maka mereka pun mengubah kebijakan lainnya terkait fitur Live Ad Break. Pada fitur ini, hanya Fan Page yang memiliki jumlah pengikut lebih dari 50.000 saja yang memiliki hak penggunaan fitur Live Ad Break. Sebelumnya, fitur tersebut bebas digunakan baik oleh akun Fan Page dan Profil.\u00a0 Hal tersebut dilakukan karena Facebook menilai bahwa banyak akun profil dan Fan Page yang memposting video dengan kualitas yang tidak sesuai dengan kebijakan mereka.
